Front Side Collision Prevention Camera System provides images of the front sides, which assist the driver safely entering/exiting small alleys and garages. The concept here is to provide more front side visible area for the driver if there are obstacles blocking their view. This is a luxurious option item for BMW 7-series (2009 model), and new 5-series (2010-model)

UniSee 400A Blind Spot Detection (BSD) Assist System utilizes one camera on the right side of the vehicle, showing images of the rear side view to the driver. The system can efficiently eleminate blind spots caused by viewing the side mirror. The need of shoulder-checks is also eliminated.

Backup view camera system consists of a camera installed at the back of a vehicle, displaying video on top of the dash board when the car is in reverse gear. The advantage here is that the system feeds real-time images to the driver. Compared with traditional rear laser sensors, which provide alarm sounds with slower response time, the visual alert can effectively reduce the risk of hitting children or other obstacles.
